NaPoWriMo 2014 promt list

April is knocking at the door and with it comes NaPoWriMo!
I have much on my plate this year so I may not get to writing a poem every day but I compiled a list of prompts to follow in any case. You may use this list if you please (or any part of it) at will and I'll give you a llama if you can find the connection between them all (there was a path in my mind )

01. Cabbage SCrenzy word count=0
The Moleamongst a field of cabbage
a mole has come to ravage
it dug beneath the growth
and so much dirt came forth
they were no longer well
for one by one they fell
until into the hole
one fell upon the mole
who ceased to dig about
because it got knocked out
and all that now remained
the poor old farmer gained
he sold the lot post haste
to ones that liked the taste
and with the profits made
he came to poor mole's aid
the two now share the field
and all the crops it yields
the best of friends they are
no better near nor far.

The SignUpon a dusty path
a man sat down to laugh
there was no humor there
the heat he could not bear
Just crazed, fatigued and beat
with naught upon his feet
and just as bare was he
the end he could not see
For days on end he tread
with nothingness ahead
for weeks he has not fed
but yet he was not dead
And all he saw around
was sky and sun and ground
and dust and dirt and grime
and all he had was time
But time was running thin
the sun has stroke his skin
and hunger shrank him quite
his throat, thirst closed on tight
And all that he could do
was move on forward to
discover food and drink
but now he was at brink
Of life that would not cling,
no pleasure pain nor sting
would he feel anymore
he reached the golden shore
Alas this was his fate
too slow his weary gait
and as he touched the gate
he knew it was too late
The shore was just a lure
no entrance for the poor
and so he has resigned
upon reading the sign
He now gave up the ghost
to sleep he wanted most
but irony had struck
he laughed at his
